For media and partners
This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Polish version is the binding one; in the event of any discrepancy, the Polish text prevails.
Torodeo makes its published materials available for quotation and discussion. Set out below are the scope of use that requires no permission, the binding conditions for quoting, and recommendations on the use of the name and the graphic mark.
Use requiring no permission
- Quoting excerpts from market observations and educational materials.
- Linking to pages of the Service and sharing them on social media.
- Discussing and criticising the published content, including where the assessment is unfavourable.
- Using the name Torodeo in order to describe the Service or its materials.
Conditions for quoting
The binding conditions are set out in § 8 of the Terms of Service, which is their source. In brief:
- The source must be attributed to Torodeo directly next to the quoted content, as visibly as the quotation itself.
- A working link leading directly to the full quoted content is required, not a link to the home page. The link may not be hidden or redirected through an intermediary that conceals the destination address.
- The quotation may not be distorted or presented as the quoting party's own content.
- The extent of the quotation must remain justified by its purpose.
- Price forecasts, entry and exit levels or trading suggestions may not be attached to the quoted content, nor attributed to Torodeo. The Service publishes market observations and deliberately does not publish investment recommendations.
- Automated retrieval of the content for further publication, republishing materials in full, and use of the content to train models or to feed content-generating services require prior consent.
Assets
All files are SVG with outlined paths, so they scale without loss of quality and require no font to be installed. The horizontal wordmark is the lettering alone; the full lockup is the lettering with the symbol above it; and the symbol is the bull graphic on its own, without the lettering.
The horizontal wordmark has a ratio of 5.83:1 and no margins inside the file, so the file height is the letter height. The full lockup has a ratio of 1.157:1 and the symbol is square.
- Choosing a version
- The background the mark will sit on decides. The wordmark in the files above is monochrome: navy in the version for light backgrounds, white in the version for dark ones. The gold of the symbol is identical in both, so it is not what distinguishes them. Swapping them gives a contrast ratio of 1.08:1 against 13.7:1, so the lettering stops being visible, and that is why there is no universal version.
- Clear space
- Free space equal to half the height of the wordmark is to be kept around it.
- Minimum size
- No smaller than 16 px in height for the horizontal wordmark. In the navigation of the Service it is used at 19 px.
- What not to do
The mark is not to be stretched, rotated or recoloured, given shadows or outlines, crowded by other elements within its clear space, or displayed more prominently than the user's own mark.
The lettering is also not to be set from a typeface. The letterforms are custom drawn, redrawn and altered, among other things by rounding the corners, so no font will reproduce them. The files above are the only correct source of the lettering.
Colours of the mark
- Lettering, version for light backgrounds
-
#1E2837 - Lettering, version for dark backgrounds
-
#FFFFFFpure white, not off-white. - Gold of the symbol
-
#E1B24Eidentically in both versions. The gold used in the interface of the Service is a different colour and does not apply when reproducing the mark.
The name and how to write it
Correct: Torodeo. Incorrect: TORODEO, ToroDeo, Toro Deo, torodeo.
Capital first letter, the rest lower case, one word. The name is not to be used as a verb or in the plural.
Recommendations
The points below are not conditions of the quotation licence. Some of the conduct described may nonetheless infringe the law on combating unfair competition or rights in the sign, regardless of the content of this page.
- Quoting excerpts together with a link to the original is recommended, rather than republishing materials in full.
-
The name Torodeo may appear in the address and the title of a page that is about the
Service, such as a review, a discussion or an article. It should not, however, be placed in
the address or title of a page about something else: an address such as
yourdomain.com/torodeothen gives a reader and a search engine the impression of a channel operated by the service provider. - The name Torodeo should not be bid on as a keyword in paid advertising, nor used in ad copy in a way that suggests the advertisement comes from the service provider.
- Domains and social media accounts containing the name Torodeo, or signs confusingly similar to it, should not be registered.
- An official or partnership connection with Torodeo should not be suggested in the absence of a separate agreement.
Partnership
Parties interested in publishing materials on a regular basis, using the wordmark beyond the scope described above, or working with the service provider commercially are invited to write to [email protected]. Such cooperation requires separate arrangements: some of the recommendations above then become binding terms of an agreement.
